A
4' x 7', this party banner is double-sided with separately sewn-on white
disk fields and printed Hakenkreuz. there are two small parallel lines of
what appear to be oil spots on the red field. Aside from this, this
banner is in good condition and looks nicely aged—if the word “patina” as
applied to badges and medals could be used with a banner, this would be a
good example of an ‘age patina’. |

An extremely rare M40 Double
Decal German combat helmet. What makes this so rare is the fact that it is
an M40, but still has both decals. Very few M40's were ever made with both
of the decals. The name written in the helmet is "Schroeder". It is an "NS"
shell with the liner band dated 1940.

Cased Iron Cross 1´st Class, unmarked, but is obviously made by L/55
Rudolf Wachtler & Lange (100). Cross as well as box is in very good
condition. This was awarded for numerous acts of repeated bravery. Unlike
the medal of Honor, you had to do many heroic acts to get one medal. However
there was always the exception. |

Panzerjäger Feldwebel's Uniform.
It is an M40 tunic, but the usual gray collar was war time replaced with the
M36 Dark Green collar with pointed ends. The shoulder boards are sewn in
instead of being strap on. It has two well sewn loops, and neatly sewn Iron
Cross 2nd class ribbon. It is dated 1940. One of my favorite pieces.
