Photo of Hans Heinrich Mach who is winner of EKII, EKI and Knights Cross!!!

Hans Heinrich Mach was awarded the Knights Cross on 15.11.1941 as an Oberleutnant und Kompanie Chef 7/Grenadier Regiment 220. He was killed in the combat around Newel on 10.11.1943 as a Hauptmann and Bataillon Kommandeur.

A Capt. who is a veteran of WWI, and is winner of, the The Knight's Cross with Swords of the Royal House Order of Hohenzollern (center of Ribbon bar), EKI and EKII (far left of ribbon bar) 1914, WWI Black wound Badge, and Hindenburg Cross (far Right of ribbon bar). The photo was taken in 1937.

A German solider gets married. He is winner of the The March 13, 1938 Commemorative Medal, the The October 1 1938 Commemorative Medal, the Commemorative Medal for the Crusade Against Communism, and if you look on his left arm you will see a small part of the Krim badge.

Sketch drawn 3 days after Hitler's last birthday.

A Private photo of Knights cross winner, and Fallschirmjäger, Haptmann Andreas Hagl. Hagl was one of the first men to join the Fallschirm Infanterie Kompanie. His death was a very horrible one, He was captured by Italian partisans in July of 1944 and then He was striped naked, covered in honey, tied up and hung over an ant hill. . . the ants ate him alive.

German soldiers salute a fallen comrade who they had most likely just been in combat with earlier in the day.

Dead Soviet tankers of a KV-1 Tank. Notice in the first photo, that the boots have been taken, and in the foreground the right pocket is inside out, meaning either the Soviets took the boots of these men before they retreated, and also looked through the pockets, or the Germans did it after they liberated the area of Soviet control.

Photo of three dead British soldiers taken by German, who was probably in the advance into France in May of 1940. The soldier in the middle clearly has a head wound, while he also holds the hand of one of his comrades, even in death. This might be due to a German soldier placing the hand on the other since these men have obviously (probably) been searched. One of the saddest photos I've ever seen.

A PAK36 (Anti-tank gun) team waits for it's prey.

A candid portrait of Helmut Valtiner who was a Gefreiter and Spähtruppführer in the 1./Gebirgs-Jäger-Regiment143 of 6th Gebirgs-Division while fighting in the Metaxas positions in Greece. For his bravery in the Greek campaign Helmuth Valtiner was awarded the Knights Cross on the 13th of June, 1941. By the end of the war, Valtiner was an Oberfeldwebl and a Platoon leader. He died in 1987.
