Photo of three dead British
soldiers taken by German, who was probably in the advance into France in
May of 1940. The soldier in the middle clearly has a head wound, while he
also holds the hand of one of his comrades, even in death. This might be
due to a German soldier placing the hand on the other since these men have
obviously (probably) been searched. One of
the saddest photos I've ever seen. |

Dead Soviet soldier, who was
probably exposed to the elements for awhile. |
